Ireland 1990 50 ECU coin

Hello all, does any one know how much gold, and what karat an "Ireland 1990 50 ECU coin" is?

The seller of one claims it is a 1/2 oz coin, if there is actually 1/2 oz of gold in it then their price seems fair for right now ($540), but I can't find much information on them.

Thanks

The coin contains 15 grams of .917 Fine Gold (22k)

Personally, I wouldn't buy it. Not very much information while searching on google.
